Brazil#
$ = shift+6.
Nigeria#
$ = alt-gr+6.
Thai#
There are no $ or {} on the typical Thai keyboard: we'd have to use the language key to access those characters (or find room to overlay some Alt-Gr keys. They do have + - / \ ( ) . ? , and |.
USA#
All special markup is easily available.
