Markup that is non-destructive will not make chunks of text present in RawText disappear from the RenderedPage.

An example of markup that is destructive is the C-style comment markup "/* ... */". Failing to close a comment block can result in considerable amount of text up until the next, properly closed, comment block being hidden.
